● 단체 소개

- COCOMA (COCOMA UTOPIA)는

2022년 5월 14일 설립된 국제 커뮤니티로,

한국에 거주하는 외국인을 중심으로 언어와 문화를 매개로 한

지속 가능한 글로벌 시민 네트워크를 만들어오고 있습니다.

3년간의 커뮤니티 운영 경험을 바탕으로,

COCOMA는 2026년부터 비영리 임의단체로 전환하여

보다 공공성 있고 장기적인 국제교류 활동을 이어가고자 합니다.

COCOMA는 일회성 모임이 아닌,

사람·관계·연결이 축적되는 커뮤니티를 지향합니다.

- COCOMA (COCOMA UTOPIA) is an international community founded on May 14, 2022.

We connect foreigners living in Korea through language and cultural exchange,

building a sustainable network of global citizens.

- Based on three years of community operation,

COCOMA will transition into a non-profit voluntary organization starting in 2026

to pursue long-term, public-oriented international exchange activities.

- COCOMA is not a one-time meetup community,

but a place where relationships and connections grow over time.

● 활동 내용

[COCOMA Global Coffee Chat]

- 커피를 매개로 한 정기 언어·문화 교류 모임

- 외국인을 중심으로 자유로운 대화와 네트워킹을 진행합니다.

- A regular language and cultural exchange meetup based around coffee,

focusing on open conversation and networking for foreigners in Korea.

[Language Exchange & Korean Support]

- 언어교환 프로그램 및 한국어 학습 지원

- 외국인의 한국 생활 적응을 돕는 실질적인 교류 활동입니다.

- Language exchange programs and Korean learning support

to help foreigners adapt to life in Korea.

[Mentoring & Team Matching]

- 외국인–외국인 / 외국인–한국인 팀 매칭

- 생활·문화·진로 등 다양한 주제의 멘토링을 운영합니다.

- Team matching between foreigners and Koreans

for mentoring on daily life, culture, and career-related topics.

[Cultural Events & Community Gatherings]

- 크리스마스, 할로윈, 설·추석 등

문화와 시즌을 반영한 커뮤니티 행사 및 이벤트를 기획합니다.

- Community events reflecting different cultures and seasons

such as Christmas, Halloween, Lunar New Year, and Chuseok.

[Fieldwork & Cultural Trips]

- DMZ, 전쟁기념관, 북한산 등 국내 주요 장소를 중심으로 한

문화·역사 기반 필드워크 프로그램을 운영합니다.

- Cultural and history-based fieldwork programs

to key locations in Korea such as the DMZ, War Memorial, Bukhan San.
